The French group O-Rudo was created by 4 French musicians from Nantes there music is a trip between space pop and electro. The four boys have a real musical personality, characterised by fluent melodies and a nice blending between machines and instruments. When you listen to « In the Sky », the beginning reminds Portishead but also Archive, or Death in Vegas... Beautiful musical inspiration are blended in a first Album that is sweet and intoxicated.
Every soundtrack opens a new sound effect and brings a new atmosphere between cool mood and electric voltage.
This 66 minutes album brings to light a well groomed musical arrangement (string instruments / church singers/ harp...), that creates a cinematic surroundings.
The hot vibrancy of the vocoder and the trumpet...
There is also an authentic energy from a mind expanding rock with guitar, bass and drums. It is hard to be indifferent: musical euphoria and instant addiction is guarantee.

The plan of creating O-Rudo was born in May 2005 by Gerald Mouëtron who was following a musical vocational training in the CNR* in Nantes in (44-France.). He was very interested in electronical music and quickly realized that computer-aided music could offer many possibilities. He had learn by himself the sound techniques and made his own recording studio. His first musical compositions were very electronical but he improved them and now they are more melodic and pop. He was impressed by the incredible artistic creativity of the sixties and seventies decades that inspired O-Rudo’s plan.
The birth of O-Rudo’s plan was official when Gerald met Thomas Ricou (Guitar) in 2005 during a sound recording. And then Alain Chamoille (in the drums) and later Florian Brunet (in the Bass) joined the group too. The electronical compositions became “more human”; it is the birth of the sound of the group.
In 2006 they began to record a first self produced album which released in September 2007.
